Bath Time

Here are a few picture of Avery's bath time. The first one is her very first bath when she was a little over a week old and the last two are from her bath tonight. I can't even believe how big she's gotten!

My first Gymboree Class

Today Avery went to her first Gymboree class. She met four other baby friends and LOVED every minute of it! We played with mirrors, bubbles, puppets and the big colorful parachute. Avery and I are looking forward to going every week!

Another big thing going on is that tonight we start sleep training. For those of you that aren't familiar with the term, it just means that we are going to be consistent with naps and nighttime routine. I am happy to say that this evening went really well and she's down...hopefully for the night. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. 

Not much else going on. Nate is 6 days away from taking the Bar and is in intense study mode. Avery and I are so proud of all of his hard work, and we are excited to help him celebrate when it's all done.

Favorite New Pictures

Four Month Appointment

Today Avery had her 4 month appointment, and is doing great! She's weighing in at a svelte 12 pounds 2 ounces and is standing 23 1/4 inches tall. That puts her in the 10th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height. Although she's little, she's right on track! 

Sorry, I won't be able to put up new pictures until this weekend, my camera battery is dead right now.

Avery's First Play Date

Today Avery had her first playdate with our friends Kay and Elle. It was great to catch up with Kay and give the little ones a chance to hang out. We're looking forward to our next time together!

In Memory

On July 6th, the world became a little less special with the passing of Nate's Grandma Rulis. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed terribly. We are very happy that Avery had the opportunity to meet her, and we can't wait until she's big enough to hear all about her. We love you...

Welcome to the World Nicholas & Peter

We would like to take a minute to welcome Nicholas and Peter to the world. They were born on Monday morning to our friends Erin and Mark, weighing in at a hearty 5 pounds each. Mom and babies are all doing great. We can't wait to meet you guys!
