Hawaii

Well, we just got back from Hawaii and it was incredible. We went as a celebration for a bunch of things; including, Priscilla's college graduation, Mother's Day, my dad's birthday, and Nate and my 2nd anniversary. We arrived super-jetlagged, and wanted nothing more than a good meal and a comfy bed. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Ka'anapali and the hotel itself was just beautiful. They have swans, flamingos, and even penguins roaming around.

The highlights of the trip were a helicopter ride over the island, going ziplining up in the crater, and getting Nate up on a surfboard for the first time. Thanks to some recommendations from friends, we also eat at some fantastic restaurants. Mama's Fish House and David Paul's definitely top the list. Most of the week was spent laying around by the pool and doing not much at all. Of course, the week came to an end way too quickly, and now it's back to work for both of us.
